Mahoney hesitated atthe door but perhaps the sea of faces watching him 
helped him decide. With a curse and a mumble beneath his breath he let the 
door slam shut behind him and clipped the rookie round the ear to hurry him 
along.

"Touche!" Cody smirked. "That'll keep him warm on the walk back to HQ."

He took a real sip from his bottle this time.

"So, where were we? Or are you having second thoughts about ketting that kid 
go now?"
