Hope looks at the approaching cops. A Rookie and a Veteran. Pretty common pairing, but this rookie looked like he'd just graduated from the academy. 
She gets up from her seat. "Good evening, Officers." 

"Evening ma'am" the rookie replied. 

The vet's face took precisely three seconds to register who he was looking at. Spooky Brannigan and the Jonah

"Zagorski. Brannigan." he acknowledged with a grunt. "You call this in?"

The squad car had the standard issue*. One shotgun attached to the dash board by a ring clip.

* ordinary squad cars do not carry high ordinance even in big cities, but given Gotham's multitude of sins and the lack of funding and upkeep of police equipment its even less likely here. Those 'response cars' which do carry automatic weaponry do so in secure trunk refits that are damned hard for anyone to break into. This isn't one of those vehicles.
