Arine's Initiative 

Ricky is on Kasterborous like filth on the Gotham River. The diminuative Redcap seemed surprise as his success but was equally able to take quick advantage as he trew his legs over the prone Kasterborous and began tugging at the bunting to tie them tighter. Unfortunatly while they made great enchanted bonds, now they are simply plastc and begin to tear. Ricky seems intent on tying knots and Kasterborous feels the static tingle of gthering Glamour. It falls from Ricky's nible fingers tot he ground beneath them both.
  
Despite Quaid pulling a weak Johnny Torch routine Nyx doesn't even blink and steps up throwing a Knuckle Fist Strike straight to Quaid's Heart.* Though she strikes him solidly, Quaid remains unmoved where his feet are planted. Nyx is sure it must have hurt*** but the Redcap somehow manages to disply no pain. 

Without taking her eyes off of Quaid she snaps out loudly, "Sluagh aid your Redcaps!" It is her hope that the Sluagh, who don't like getting physical, will at least start hurling cantrips to aid their buddies or at least use them to hurt Danny.

The yell seems to snap the Ghoulies out of thier shock and they begin to act, sumoning up Bunks mostly but the Corpse suddenly leaps towards Danny and the crushed Redcaps. His body seeming to distort as he flies through the air, becoming a shadowy splash of liquid that strikes the brawling trio and brings them down from a combination of buffet and slippery surfaces.

Quaid snorts and exhibits two moves in rapid succesion. His flame engulfed hands snap out, the right hand grabbing Nyx's left and his left hand grabbing the offending punch. he spins her deftly, twisting her limbs in a way they just weren't supposed to be bent. Nyx is forced to her knee's in excruciating pain. ****

As he twists and the etheral flames lick around her arms, Nyx almost looses consciousness from the pain. 




Quaids flames go out at start of Round 5

The Rolls

*Attack is Knuckle Fist - Adds 1 Dice and the Difficulty which is normally 6 is modified to 5 due to her Whirling Dervish Cantrip. 
Rolls - 6 + 8+ 10+ 6+ 6+ 7+ 3+ 9+ 10+ 1+ 5 Success Count - 8

**Attackers Strength roll -  4 + 3 Success Count =  0
Defenders Strength roll - 10 + 4 Success Count =  1

Quaid soak's -  5 + 3 + 6 Success Count =  1

Soak (Because I'm assuming Quaid is going to get her this round) - 4 Rolls / Difficulty is 6.

Rolls - 7, 1, 8, 6 Success Count -2

****Quaids Joint lock #1 -  9 + 3 + 5   + 8 + 4 Success Count =  2. Quaids Joint lock #2 -  8 + 6 + 10 + 9 + 4 + 8 Success Count =  5 (proving he is a left handed SOB, something I never knew). 
Damage (Str +1 stun damage) - Right arm  5 + 3 + 6 Success Count =  1 , left arm  10 + 9 + 5 Success Count =  2. Quaids Promethean fist burns for a further 4 dice of Chimerical damage (0 turns left to burn). I figure the fire damage takes first as the rest requires pressure / twisting from Quaid, so the soak reduces that by 2. Thats a rather scary 5 points of damage all told. Lucky 3 points are only stun damage!
