Aurora, JB, Jack

[Aurora]
As she wanders around the party aimlessly, hoping that
she'll finally find Christine or Mitsuko, she sees
someone she didn't expect.

"Jack?"  Her shyness is cowed by her curiosity on this
one.  "You're looking better!"

Then she notes that he had been in the middle of
talking to somebody...

"Oh... uh... um... excuse me..." she shyly smiles to
John and looks between them awkwardly.

[Jack]
Spying one of his lovely saviors, a wide grin creases
Jack’s face and he bows theatrically, albeit clumsily,
at Aurora.  

“Excellent.  Incredibly happy to see you.  Where have
you been and why haven’t you been getting drunk with
me?” 

Jack pauses for a moment, taking in this vision,
thinking of how fortunate he was to have crossed her
path.  He then remembers what few real manners he
possesses.
  
“Oh...this is John.”  He nods at his new acquaintance.
“John, it’s my pleasure to introduce you to the Most
Amazing Aurora.”

[Aurora]
She blushes, her grey eyes shifting from grey to dark
blue for just a moment, and then shifting to Amber. 
((OOC: Something I'm sure John's scrutinizing gaze
would easily notice.))

[John]
"John Black.  Occult dealer, antequarian, and party
crasher at your service."  He bowed slightly and
smiled, his mood lightening slightly.

"Your friend here was just telling me the reason for
his celebration. I don't suppose your part of it too?"

Again: Perception + Awareness = 5 - What is she?

[Aurora]
"A small part," she returns the smile shyly and nods
in return to the bow.

[Jack]
Vigorously shaking his head, Jack replies. “No, no,
no, no, no, no. That isn’t true. You played a huge
part.” He spreads his hands wide for emphasis. “You
saved my fucking life, darlin’. Would have been
pushing up the daisies if not for you and your lovely
companions.”

Jack takes the cigarette between his fingers and gives
John Black the kind of serious and profound look only
much liquor can provide.

“Don’t let her tell you otherwise, my friend. Girl’s a
heroine in my book.”
