[Sodium_noir] At the Carousel

[PIPER MEADE]

  ROUND 6

  Ricky rolls around the floor clutching between his legs and promising all manner of vile abuse on Kasterborous' nether regions. Mostly in a high pitched voice. Though he is begining to get some colour back in his ugly little face.

  Danny is busily (and pointlessly) trying to beat the shit out of a black puddle (the Corpse).

  Ariñe, darts in hand, continued to move as if life depended on this meal. The drought had come, everything had starved to death or already been killed and now... pray was in sight. This beautiful, soft creature had become... well... she was more like redcap then pooka or satyr at this point but when fighting the nightmare... sometimes you had to become one yourself. There was no more time for waiting. No more time for talk. She moved through whatever shadow may be, darting in and out, until she was right next to Danny with his arms around Bill and Ed. 

  Nyx, Kasterborous, Sachiko, Thomas, Max, Bill and Oswald are all cowed by Quaid, while Mary is faking the same after giving Nyx the health boost. 

  Quaid relaxes, confident that he has them subdued enough to speak. he doesn't let Nyx go but he quits piling on the pain. [all the stun damage will be gone in a few turns if he doesn't start up again]

  "Look!" he snarls. "We didn't come looking for a fight, just to deliver amessage to your boss. But we didn't expect such ball's from the Court's kindergarten either. Pity the grown ups don't have your willingness to fight for the right. But enough now or we'll take the kid gloves, you understand?"

  Ariñe steps out from the shadows, making her footsteps heard. She moves with purpose but without threat. She had already slipped the darts into the rounded pocket on the front, outside of the jursey dress she was waring before she started moving. She moved towards Quaid, allowing that calming effect she had to come to the forfront. If Quaid seems to tighten his hold of inflict more pain she stops. (OOC: if he does I'm also changing what she does from this point on so...)

  "Kid gloves?"

  She seemed dissapointed. If Quaid does not make any move she keeps moving towards him, completely without threat and calling upon that calming presence so indicative of her kind, though it was more for the benefit of the others there. Quaid was smarter than that or so she figured but it was hard to deny that feeling she... it was as if she required it from those around her.

  Arine probably wants to rethink her move now as the fight is in a pause at the moment and danny no longer has the two Redcap's pinned.
