It doesn't take long for the squad car to arrive. But it takes longer than Tellos needs to get out of sight. 
 
Scoping the parking lot of the Pizza place he sees no vehicles with lights yet, the off duty pair must have brought their own cars. Or walked. Still the area is quite busy, even at this hour there's a car every few minutes and as well as the Pizza customers there's a night cafe further down the block. he could probably hide out until the back up arrives, and hope nobody gives his location away, or he could make himself scarce.
 
Inside
 
Cody watches the kid leave with wide eyed and slack jawed amazement. Hope had called a squad car and in this neighborhood it would get here before their next beer did. Still, it wasn't until he caught Hope's expression that he thought to close his mouth.
 
"So help me out with this one partner. Do we go out there and slap the cuffs on him, or throw a bucket of water over him?" he peers out through the painted glass of Al's advertisements again. "Makes you question your self though, when its only the nut jobs and smack heads who actually notice what's going on."
