[Sodium_noir] Nyx's Combat Action / Rolls

[SN Storyteller]

ROUND 1
Nyx and Quaid move so fast that all the onlookers can percieve is a blur of movement. In the time it takes the others to act they have covered five times as much distance and taken five time to blows at each other. The air visible Hums with Glamour.

Turn 1
Her first action is to attempt a fast low sweep with her thrysus and 
put Quaid on his ass. 2 successes on the attack. 

Quaid, having won initiative, dodges. he rolls 4 + 3 = 7 1 8 8 6 6 7 - 5 successes. [You may be the first person to not obliterate my dice rolls in quite some time, sorry]

His deft foot work avoid the sweep.

Turn 2
Second action, after the leg sweep, is a snap thrust of the thrysus to 
the face. (I do indeed allow rerolls for specialties) That makes 4 successes. 

Quaid is forced to dodge again, this time getting 4 7 3 9 6 8 8 - 5 successes. 

He whips his head back and rolls his neck to narrowly avoid the Thrysus in close quarters. By now you can definatly see some professional training at work. Maybe you might want to make a roll on identifying that later. 

Turn 3
Nyx Calls down the Dragons Ire, surrounding herslef in a nimbus of Chimerical flames. Quiad burns this turn to double the speed of jhis next attack.

Turn 4

Quaid grapples at double speed, grabing Nyx firmly around the Throat, beating her strength easily and holding her at arms length, but leaving her arms free. A grapple in name only! Nyx is somewhat restricted in her movements but can use any of her limbs.

Turn 5
He then grabs for the thrysus but Nyx actually pulls the weapon away from Quaids grasp and keeps a hold of it. Further infuriating her opponant. 

New Round, Round 2. 
Nyx is glowing with the Dragons Ire, flurescent sparks dancing from her horns and sparking from her hooves. Quaid turns his attention fully to the weapon in her hand and grins manically. The flicker of Glamour dances in his eyes as calls upon his birthright.
